OF INTEREST Ramon painted many of the 'original' Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. At the time, the Sisters were an emerging culture of gay men dressed in nun drag, focusing on community service, charity, protest and street art in San Francisco. Today, the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence are a global organization and network of orders.
